Hi!! If you have not had your picture day yet, this is the post for you! In this post there are some great tips and product to take advantage of for a perfect yearbook picture. This is a full faced post but you can edit certain parts to emphasize your own features!
Face Makeup
Foundation-Concealer-Primer
Normally, high school students wear a full coverage foundation for picture day, but this year I am only going to spot treat certain problem areas with my concealer! If you are not comfortable with your skin, using full coverage foundation works well too. Wearing a primer is recommended because it allows a smoother application of your face makeup. Having a "flawless" face is essential for picture day! Here are some products I recommend:
Powder
A matte face is extremely important. If you have oily skin, powder your face right before you take your picture! The flash and excessive lighting in the picture room can make you appear shiny, so skip a translucent powder and go all the way with a matting powder or powder foundation. Here are some great powder options!

Blush-Bronzer
Blush and Bronzer can make your picture perfect or bring it down. That is why it is important to go natural and safe! Putting on a bright pink blush may look good in person, but in the picture it can be emphasized to the point of looking like a clown! A blush with peachy undertones give a natural flush which looks beautiful on camera. Skipping a shimmery blush is recommended too. The camera really picks up the sparkle and you do not want to look like you have glitter all over your face! As for bronzer, I am a huge fan of contouring for picture day. A matte bronzer is amazing for defining cheek bones and jaw lines! If you own a matte bronzer, use it! I love these blushes and bronzers.
This was really helpful!! Thank you! :) I love the Benefit Cha Cha Tint!!

ReplyDeleteI own the MAC Melba blush and it is my absolute favorite! I have had it for almost 2 years now and have yet to hit the pan, even though I wear it everyday...THAT'S how pigmented it is! Great article! I'm interested in trying out Cha Cha Tint now.
